2  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / High Fashion, futuristic CYBORGS?! intense, i know.. on: January 06, 2013 10:32:04 PM
My friend and I were hired to be the greeters at a rave in Brooklyn this New Year's Eve.
The theme was: THE FUTURE - Bionic, Cyborg, Artificial Intelligence, Edgy, High Fashion, Futuristic, Evolution
My original idea was going to be a full black look and a full inversed white look, yet all the same (complete with white contacts..)
I was given a reply of "Please have a lighter, brighter look. Our colors are white, purple, teal, pink, silver." and no white out contacts"

This reply was a little disheartening so I had to make last minute costumes for my friend and I which I think came out pretty nice  Wink

Not bad for a bolt of 5 year old metallic spandex and a shower curtain!! HOORAY!!

Both of us with our blinky lights!

full length complete with 7 inch double stack boots (i'm actually 6'5 in this)

close up of the leg garters and shoulder things...

and just for fun!!!

and a close up on the make up!!! (if i couldnt wear the white contacts, i was going to wear some!!)

and last but not least, the failed look concept!!

THANK YOU FOR STAYING UNTIL THE END!!!!!!! (i know, i know, so many pics.) XOXO

i know everyone was lady gaga for halloween this year, but it only seemed right for me to. saved money on  a wig!! did the bow with my own hair. made the necklace with free samples of plastic and a drill press for new years eve last year! cheapest costume ever. people actually thought i was her! it was fabulous.
i am currently abroad so i went to germany for halloween.  Smiley

mother was not pleased when she saw my costume  Tongue

a little risque?

i don't know her.

6  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Trick&Treattttttt. YIP;YIP on: November 03, 2009 09:08:49 PM
I was a ZEBRAAA this year for halloween!!!
i decided this in march lol.
I literally made this THE day i went out (wore it both friday and saturday out)
$6 total. i think the make up cost more  Wink

it's hotpants and a tube top. the high waisted shorts can be flipped down to little booty shorts, if i want.
if you can't tell i accidently made them a little too...short...

i was planning on buying black&white clip in hair extensions, then i realized im in college, therefore poor, so i tied pieces of white lace and black fabric strips into my hair and give myself a fauxhawk thing.
and i did my make up myself.

it was a great time  Smiley

And on thursday night, i went to a post-apocalyptic grunge themed party appropriately named: BloodClot.

did really make anything, just fun make up.
and i pinned a zipper to me, i also had lace and layers of fabric tied around my knee with a bolt tucked in.
just because =)

its been a while since my last post (almost a year???) let me know what you thinkkkk =)
