I can't seem to get the search function to work, and no reviews come up on patternreview.com, so has anyone made this?  I was thinking it could be a relatively simple dress for my Sadie's dance in February (I'm thinking I"ll make View A), and also, if you have, how do you think it would look on a sz. 12 body? Thanks!

I have seen pages here for fake blood for costumes, etc. but for a school project (that actually has nothing to do with Halloween but is focused on murder, so I thought this board was appropriate  ) I wanted to put blood splatters on some papers/pages, but wasn't sure if the recipes for blood on fabric would work and haven't found anything online.  I was thinking about mixing teriyaki and red food coloring to get it the right amount of "crimson", but now I"m not so sure....any help is greatly appreciated!

well, when that happened to me and my boyfriend, i set to work making myself plenty of cute clothes/dresses/skirts/jewelry/etc. so that when he saw me again, i would feel confident and he would know just how muhc he was missing - AND how ready i was to get on with life!

As an update, I only have to do a little bit of resizing (I forgot seam allowance on the white when I inserted it to the black, so it's about 3 in. too small,  ) and then hem the bottom and add the velvet, but mine's nearly done - I ended up using a satin (I wanted something matte, but it was $3 a yd. and I had to buy the material myself, so I compromised, lol).  I might end up adding straps so that I can just wear a bra and cami and not have to buy a new strapless bra, because my one from Sadie's recently crapped out on me....  Well, off to work on it.  Anyone making something for homecoming - good luck!
