2  I made a wa-lolita outfit! Picture fat. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Iellwen on: July 25, 2008 10:09:05 PM
I haven't typed that whole word in the longest time.  Lo-li-ta.  Feels weird.

Anyway.

Would you like photos?

I'll deliver:

Frolicking.

Lookit mah sleeves!  I made them short so I could learn to use them.  I may switch them out later, I may not.

Impatiens don't have a smell.  I just thought it would be cute.

Me and mah buddy Kisha.  Her dress is BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT.

I made the whole outfit from scratch, no patts.  Kimono top, skirt, bow, and obi.  The obi was kinda very fake, and I'll fix it later.  Any questions, just ask.

Anywho, waloli.  Next I want to do something like the pink wa loli shoot that Kana did.  'Twould be very cute.

3  An interesting perspective on blocky shirts. Also, slightly pic heavy. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Iellwen on: July 30, 2007 11:13:16 AM
Eeee, my first topic.  And here I was thinking it would be in knitting or crocheting.

Okay, so I got a cheap tee shirt at Eckard(Sp?).  It wasn't flattering in the least, and I had really been wanting to braid.  So I cut the sleeves off, braided what was left and sewed the braided straps to the back again.  It looked like this.
Uurgh sideways.  I's a bum.
And my reaction was astonishment at the fact that my boobies were GONE.  I couldn't find them!  So I made another braid from one of the discarded sleeves and stuck an empire on it.  And we had this:   Crappy picture, I know.

BOOBIES!!!  I was so excited when I finally found them.

And for fun, here's a sleeve detail, so I can show off my pretty braiding.  I know, I know.  Sideways.
