1431  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: Almost set my room on fire... on: November 03, 2005 01:37:38 PM
well my neighbor and i are pyros. we decided it would be fun to go in the backyard and light stuf on fire. since i didnt want to burn down too much stuff, i put a plastic bubble plate (the kind you use to hold the bubble liquid with) underneath all the wood and stuff. well naturally i wasnt soposed to be doing this, as i was 11 years old at the time. well the lighter was defective, and a FLAMEBAL shot out of the lighter (aout 1.5 feet long, only 5 in wide though Lips sealed) and lit the pine tree above us on fire..then we decided to aim the flame thrower at the wood, as naturally it would light it...well it worked. it lit the wood, and the bottom of the bubble plate. if anyone has smelled burning plastic before, its not the best smell ever. then, my neighbor who is next door, about 20 feet away from us starts yelling, dad i think i smell something burining! well we didnt want to get in trouble, so i decided the best way to put out the fire was to pick up the bubble plate and flip it, so the fire couldnt get oxygen and would die. well the bottom of the bubble plate was completly molten so after picking it up, my thumb and three middle fingets went straing through the plate and the burning wood...i burned my palm and all of my fingers, and had to peel hardening plastic off of my burnt skin which was not so fun....from then on all the lighters in my house are nowhere to be found...

this sounds incredibly stupid, but when i was about 8 i had one of those huge superballs from the 50 cent machenes. well i decided that since it broke in half (dunno how that happened) i would superglue it together well, long story short, i wound up soaking my hands in nailpolish remover for like an hour with BOTH of my hands glued to a superball....not so much fin, and then the stupid superball broke again... Lips sealed
