1  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / What's the deal with dry ice? on: October 13, 2004 03:36:01 AM
Never used it before, but it looks so cool, I really want to try it out for my Halloween party this year. So can I use it in a container with beer, like regular ice? How will i keep people from touching it? How long does it last? How much do I need to get a good foggy effect going on? Thanks guys,
K
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / What's a good way to learn about paper and bookmakingtechniques? on: July 15, 2004 02:01:02 AM
Ciao everbody,
I really want to learn bookmaking and paper crafts, I'm wondering where you all learned all of the amazing techniques you use to create your masterpieces?? Did you attend classes, or read lots of books, or just trial and error, learning as you went along?? I live in Italy and always see the exquisite papers and supplies  that are for sale in the shops in my area, I'd love to learn more about paper arts and start buying  some of those gorgeous supplies to create handmade souveniers for my friends and family.
Grazie,
K
3  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Good online source for face painting supplies? on: May 09, 2004 04:28:25 AM
Hi all,
Just wondering if anybody knows of an online outlet with decently priced face paints for sale? I'm not looking for those super expensive professional ones, more like the paints that come in the little connected plastic pots or what have you. Thanks!
