31  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Bookmarks (img heavy) on: July 12, 2006 02:54:54 PM
Those are awesome!  I'd be worried about the raised objects messing up the pages though.  Books are sacred to me and I'm crazy about keeping them pristine.
32  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Hello kitty/plectrum bracelets & sesame street kilt pin on: July 12, 2006 02:49:59 PM
Those are so cute!  Where did you find the charms though?
33  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Pink Frosting - amigurumi deer on: July 12, 2006 06:50:00 AM
Sooo cute!  I really wish I knew how to crochet just so that I could make this.  I can't wait to see the chocolate one since I love chocolate Tongue.
34  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: onesies galore and scary napkin according to my hubby on: July 08, 2006 12:15:48 PM
I love the onesies.  The flapper is cute but does seem a little creepy.  You could fill in the blue in her eyes because the black dots make them look a little beady like a doll's eyes (*shudder*).  And I agree about her head looking severed.  I love her adorable hair though Smiley.  You did a great job on everything.
35  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: My first post! Cat Bag Sock! on: July 08, 2006 11:32:24 AM
That is so adorable!  I love the cat applique Smiley.  I need to make one to store the plastic bags for cleaning out my cats litterbox.
36  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Phobia Swap! (sign ups 6/22-7/4 Sendouts 7/26) on: June 30, 2006 03:33:20 PM
I am interested in joining and debating whether or not I have the time and skill to do this!  We'll see what happens but for now I'll list some of my phobias.

The weirdest one that no one else in the world seems to have... I'm scared of balls.  Basketballs, footballs, baseballs, etc!  I was hit one too many times when I was playing sports as a kid.  I refuse to go to basketball games because I just know I'll get hit with a basketball.  I go to baseball games but I have to sit in an area where there's the least possibility of getting hit with a baseball.  I can't be around children with balls because they are reckless with them and I jump to the ceiling if I think they're about to throw them my way.  If I'm in control of the ball it's okay but otherwise, *shudder*.  I'm actually going to take a tennis class in the fall and I'm hoping I'll be able to deal with it!

Another major fear is dolls.  I had a grandma that made those American-style dolls and they scared the crap out of me.  She gave me one as a present when I was 7 (!) and I had to put it outside my bedroom door every night.  It was packed away Tongue.

Other than that I have the typical phobias: scared of the dark, all insects and especially spiders, needles, ghosts, heights, falling, drowning, and there's others that I can't recall.
37  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: Purple Beaded Lady Necklace~"The Face" by Diane Briegleb on: June 26, 2006 12:50:09 PM
Wow!  It's beautiful but a little creepy.  I think she kind of looks like an intergalatic queen... but uh, that could just be my wacky imagination Cheesy.

I also enjoyed the gallery on her website.  Thanks for the link.  I wish she sold some individual pieces though.
38  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: New Poster Boy--guess who? on: June 22, 2006 07:42:42 AM
Dang!  I thought it was Keanu Reeves from the era of Bill & Ted movies.  I am so dated, lol.
39  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Box Transformation/Mountain Shrine on: June 21, 2006 12:10:16 PM
I'm surprised that hardly anyone has commented on this!  I actually really like it.  I usually think pocket shrines are kind of ridiculous but I may change my mind now Grin

I didn't realize jackalopes are real animals.  I thought it was a made-up thing!

I know this thread is old but I just had to comment.
40  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: floresita embroidered t-shirt (many pics) on: May 23, 2006 07:07:57 AM
Wow, that's gorgeous Shocked!  You must be quite skilled at embroidery because there's no puckering anywhere.  The fact that it's your artwork is even better.  How long did it take?
