11  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego on: July 17, 2007 02:15:30 PM
That is beyond awesome!  I remember playing that game as well and never finding her Sad.  It was too hard for me, lol.

The purse turned out great.  I usually find purses made of paper/cardboard/stiff material to be put together really sloppy and look unusable but yours is so well-made!  I love how you attached the edges together and the matching green details Smiley.
12  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Luxury Cat Condo Extraordinare on: June 06, 2007 01:19:58 PM
I am absolutely in love with it!!  The cats are obviously enjoying it so you're a good parent Smiley.  I bookmarked this so I can remember which magazine to buy so I can make one for my own cat (who already has a cat tree that I made for him as well, lol).
13  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Post your photography in here :D on: April 27, 2007 05:17:14 PM
I love all the photos in this thread!  Especially the animal ones b/c I'm a sucker for animals Wink.  I'm not a photographer at all, in my opinion.  I mostly take pictures of my cat but I do try to make them interesting.  I'll show my most recent ones from this week.  Sorry they're so small though Undecided.

I might come back and post some more later if no one minds the exact same subject, lol.
14  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Lil Ugly an amigurumi owl on: March 26, 2007 11:11:31 AM
I like him for being different too Wink!  You should try to sell him since a lot of weirdos (like myself) would love his craziness.
15  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Hancock Fabrics filing bankruptcy? on: March 26, 2007 08:10:15 AM
There's a Hancock's in Irving that's closing.  It sucks b/c it's the only crafty store in Irving, even if it is just fabric.  Hobby Lobby and Michael's are 15 mins away in Southlake or Grapevine.

I'm not surprised, I guess.  People want stores that carry everything now and Hancock's was mostly fabric and sewing supplies.  I hope they don't go completly out of business though.
16  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: My super quick kitty blankie on: March 26, 2007 07:36:04 AM
Aww, it's adorable how she's curled up on a small part of it instead of sprawling out all over Cheesy.  I may have to ask my aunt to crochet my cat a blanket now!
17  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: cute cross stitching on: January 03, 2007 07:51:42 AM
Aww!  The first one is so adorable

I love the second one too.  What do you plan to do with it?
18  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Is Walmart getting rid of fabric?? on: November 17, 2006 10:35:39 AM
Although it's been confirmed, I just thought I'd say the super-huge new Wal-Mart that opened next to the tollway here has no fabric at all and just 3 wimpy aisles of crafty supplies.  I was so sad because I thought they would have an even bigger selection of fabric Sad.

It doesn't affect me too much because I prefer Hancocks and Jo-Anns but it kind of sucks anyway.  I'm sorry for everyone else that relies on Wal-Mart for their craft supplies though Undecided.
19  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Remember that crazy red room? Well, I moved.... on: November 09, 2006 08:12:04 AM
I prefer this room to your crazy red one.  It's so clean and relaxing instead of chaotic like the last room.  You've got good interior design skills, Cheesy.

Did you have to fix your old room up before moving?  Like painting the walls back to a neutral color and replacing the carpet with all the drawings on it?
20  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Cute Knitted Pincushions! on: November 08, 2006 11:50:11 AM
Those are adorable!  I like the one with the John Deere button Cheesy.
