1  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Cropped Jacket from KNIT1 Summmer 2006 on: July 20, 2007 07:19:49 PM
Ok...I've had this sweater almost completed except for the sleeves for at least 8 months. I couldn't get the sleeve caps to match up with the body and I'm tired of fidling with it. I've decided to frog it and try to make it in the round. I think i can do it, the side panels are the only think that might give me a bit of trouble. Wish me luck!!

OOOO I love it!!! Your version looks much cuter in that colour than the original. I found the pattern just in case anyone else wants to make it, I know that I'm adding it on my ever growing list. http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=96&d_id=3&lang=en

5  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Twinkle's Big City Knits Book Knitalong on: April 01, 2007 01:33:40 PM
I'm working on the Groovy Sweater Dress right now. I'm using Patons Classic Merino working with four strands at a time and I got gauge!! I really want to use the twinkle yarn but can't afford it right now. I'm already done the sleeves and I've just started on the dress. Does anyone know of a place in Canada (I live in mid Ontario) that I can get the twinkle yarn from, or a Canadian website?

Hi guys, I'm trying to find a site where I can buy this yarn online. I haven't had any luck yet. I looked at the Shopatron site but it didn't list the twinkle yarn. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks knittinfiasco, I really like that style of that one. I'll try to mess around with some math (which I'm horrible at) and see if I can come up with something that will fit me.

Thanks for the links guys. I do like the one from Phildar and Kim Hargreaves but I was looking for one where I didn't have to buy a whole magazine. The one from Lion Brand was ok but didn't quite have enough charm for me. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Swing Coat Pattern? on: March 10, 2007 05:34:32 PM
Hi everyone. I'm loving the new little cropped swing coats that are out there and want to make one for myself. Does anyone know of any patterns for one? I know that Knit and Tonic has one  but its a bit too full/wide for my taste. If you guys know of anything similar I would love to hear about it. Thanks!
10  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Forecast KAL (Knitty 2005) on: March 10, 2007 02:27:24 PM
I have been thinking of making this for awhile. I think i'm going to make same modifications on it though, I'm not a fan of the baggy sleeves. I just got my yarn this week that I orderded from Knit Picks. I'm using Wool of the Andes in Amethyst Heather. I'm hoping to cast on some time this week.
