1  Re: Brea Purse from Berocco in Knitalongs by buzybeebee24 on: December 24, 2006 01:29:47 PM
Hi everyone. I wasn't part of the knitalong but I did just finish a Brea. It is actually a pretty quick knit except for the dreaded moss st gusset. I just finished this for my mom for christmas but I ran out of yarn so I couldn't do the button closure thingy. I'm going to see if she would like a zipper put on it. Has anyone tried sewing one in yet? If you have, how hard was it? Anyways, here it is.

2  Done in the nick of time.... in Knitting: Completed Projects by buzybeebee24 on: December 24, 2006 12:25:22 PM
I just finished these last minute christmas presents. I made the Brea puse for my mom. It knit up really fast except for the gusset which took forever. I used 2 balls of Patons Decor in the colour Rich New Rose. It's not as pink in real life as the photo makes it seem, it's more of a cranberry colour. I had just enough to finish sewing it together so I couldn't make the button closure. I'm going to either put a snap closure or zipper on it but I'm going to let my mom decide.

I also made the Child Placket Neck Sweater for my nephew. I made the 1-2 year size which I think turned out a bit small but will still fit the little rugrat. I used some cotton yarn that I've had laying around in my stash for years. It was a pretty quick knit. I decided to leave the buttons off because I don't think that they will end up being done up anyways. Sorry for the blurry pic but it was the best I could get with my craptastic digi.

3  Re: Come one come all post your new tattoo IDEAS! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by buzybeebee24 on: August 01, 2006 05:59:41 PM
After wanting a tatto for years and years I finally found one that I would actually get.  I want it on my lower back, right about my waistband. The only problem is that I want it to be about the size of my hand and the artists that I've talked to have all said that it would have to be pretty much all of my back to show all of the detail!!! I don't think I want that much of a commitment. Anyways, this is what I want.

Here is my shrug. I used yarn that i recycled from a thrift shop and I used eyelets instead of the mock ribbing. It fits pretty good but I think i should of blocked it.

7  Come see the pretty things I made...Pretty Please? Edited to add new project. in Knitting: Completed Projects by buzybeebee24 on: January 22, 2006 03:55:57 PM
Hi everyone. This is my first post of some of my completed project. I really had lots of fun making these.

First up is the Anthro Capelet. I totally loved this!!! I used seed stich instead of ribbing and actually picked up and knitted the border.

And the circular shrug. Which I just realized that I need to seam just a little bit more. For the back I did eyelets instead of the mock rib.

And last is the ballet shirt from Loop-d-Loop. I really like it but I think I'm going to frog back a bit and do some more decreases. Its just a little bit too wide for me. And mabe make it longer too.

Any suggestions that you guys have would be very welcomed. Thanks for looking.

Oh and I totally forgot until my sister mentioned on here that I forgot this. And this on is my favorite. Its the Jiffy Tube Top off of Craftster.

and a close up of the xoxo cable. This was my first cable attempt. It really is easy.
