Ahhhhhahaha!  This is amazing. I want one.   Cheesy
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Bestest Friends -Wooden cultural dolls on: May 24, 2010 05:32:56 PM
These are wonderful! So much nicer than those cheap, plastic dolls you get in the store.
And what a lovely keepsake for your girls.  Smiley
I'm expecting my first in a few months and I keep filing away ideas like this for natural and non-plastic playthings.
3  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: Beef bouillon cubes vegetarian? on: May 17, 2009 08:32:39 PM
It looks like they are fine

....except for the whole "natural flavours" part....which could really go either way in terms of plant or animal sourced. Generally I would just take the gamble with natural flavourings, but for something that is meant to taste like beef I would probably call the company to find out what exactly their natural flavouring is.
4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Star Guild Opportunity Quilt (image heavy) on: April 16, 2009 09:30:13 PM
This is absolutely breathtaking.   Shocked
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Sarong...to so right. on: August 02, 2007 10:15:13 PM
Yup...that was my joke for the day.

Anywhoooo...I haven't posted in what seems like forever. It's a little ridiculous. So, here I am with something simple but oh so comfy.

I guess this could have gone in the general category too, seeing as the sarong was just a big sheet of material...but I'll stick to form and put it here, seeing as it did start it's life as something different.

So...without further ado...my new dress!
(please bear with me while my slowly failing camera tries its hardest to photograph black fabric  Roll Eyes  )

Front!

Back...

And the bust detail. Yay for useless buttons!

Thanks for looking.  Smiley

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: mumu to marvelous! on: June 11, 2007 10:01:11 PM
This is really pretty!
I'm a negative on changing the neckline...I much prefer it the way it is.
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: The many faces of a slip on: May 24, 2007 08:43:07 AM
I like this transformation.
The first one looks to me like really pretty, flowy pj's.  The final version looks much more wearable for out-of-the-house...it looks more thought out and put together. And I love the colour of the final dress. Gorgeous!  Smiley
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: baggy t-shirt into dress/top on: May 23, 2007 05:48:14 PM
This is really cute! I like all the details.
I'd love to see a picture of it on.  Smiley
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: schoolmarm to picnic dress on: May 20, 2007 09:21:56 AM
Absolutely gorgeous!
