Hey!  When bored, i'll usually peek at the links that craftsters post in their signatures... and i've come across many wedding blogs.  Since i've always wanted a wedding in another country (but would never be able to afford to bring everybody with me), I think that having a wedding blog is a fantastic idea!!   Some of the ones that i've come across have pictures of the wedding and honeymoon, accomodations/directions to the wedding, and even registry links!!

So I wanted to have a topic where everybody can share their wedding blogs (for past, present, or future weddings) if they have one!!  I'd love to see what other people have come up with - since this is something that I may consider in the future (if my boyfriend ever proposes! hehe!)

Hey everybody!  Here is my creation: the "Soda Scenery!"

I started off with pop cans... you'd be surprised at how many I found!!  For this project I used Coca Cola, Canadian Dry (Club Soda), and Sprite!


I cut up the cans (very carefully as the edges were sharp!) and made my collage out of them!  I was inspired by Canadian summer paddling! (It's a picture of a person paddling down a river in his canoe... the pop cans were a lot more shiny than I expected, so the camera had a hard time capturing the true picture)

Hey all!

Well... this summer I created some "puzzle banners" - basically big puzzles!  The first one was for my family at a get-together... I gave everyone a piece and had them colour it, then we put it together on a background. (I had outlined where their piece should go... just to make it quicker... and easier since it took some longer than others to finish their pieces... so it was neat seeing the picture slowly form.)   My mom loved it so much that she made me do another puzzle (I just made the pieces and got it ready) and had her kids at the school colour their own piece! (She has about 27 kids... the pic only shows a few of them)  It is so great to do, because it doesn't matter how well the individual colours... it's the final picture that matters!  So the display was very unique!  Here's what they both look like:

 

Thought I'd start a thread to keep track of any scarves that I work on.  If you have a scarf, add it here!  With winter quickly approaching, I bet that more people will start knitting these to stay warm! (At least up here in Canada, anyways! hehe!)  So come on - let's see how many pictures of scarves we can add!

I tried my hand at the knit cat toy from the famous SnB books!  Here's one of the pics of it:



By the way... my cat LOVED it!!  She plays with it all the time!

I'm not sure if anybody has tried this free pattern yet, but here's my "Mr Bean Style Bear".  I liked the blue one better with just the eyes - if you move his head, he has a realistic look to him!  The brown one is here with me, while the blue guy is with my boyfriend (aww!)  They're actually the same size - the pics make the blue one look smaller.
