sorry, i should have explained this better. I'm using one tshirt for the body, and then another tshirt as the material for the sleeves, hood and pocket. the sleeves are coming from another material, not the original tshirt. I just needed to know whether there were any hints to doing that kind of sleeve. from what i was reading on other postings it looked like it was more complicated than it seemed.
I'm looking to make a raglan style sweatshirt out of some tshirts but i'm not sure how to do the sleeves? does anyone know how to do this or where to find a tutorial on this? Please help if you can. THANKS!!!
Hey everyone, check out the bag I just made. This was my first time making a purse and it's a birthday present for my boyfriend's sister. Happy birthday NORA!! This tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35575.msg306466#msg306466 worked like a charm. Thanks tinafish, i can't wait to do another. The fabric for this came from two old shirts I found at salvy.
Thanks for all the great feedback! The earrings are mostly hand-me-downs from my mom and the postcards came from a restaurant in NYC. They are the free kind that usually look good but advertise something, so I covered the ads with earrings. This way I didn't have to put holes in my good postcards. Thanks again everyone!
Super quick project with very nice results I think. I was inspired by this project: CD Earring Holder. I found it was easier to punch holes in a postcard using a push pin but got the same results as the cd with a little art on the side. Enjoy!
