1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Kitten Cozy on: September 29, 2006 09:33:02 AM
OMG I think I'm going to have a seizure from all the cuteness!!! >.<  That is the greatest thing I've ever seen!  I never thought of doing something like that for a kitten... too bad my kittens are outside ones and not inside.  Undecided  Oh well, very nice, and sooooooooo adorable!
2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Still thinking and have a question.. on: September 29, 2006 09:15:46 AM
I've been thinking about opening a website to sell my crafts for a loooong time, but I just have never gotten around to it/am afraid to.  One of my biggest concerns is, I don't have a whole lot of money, so I can't buy really expensive things.  I crochet scarves a lot, but I mostly only use the red heart acrylic yarn, etc.  The cheap stuff, ya know?  I've read on here several ways to make it feel softer, but, from your experience, are people a lot less likely to buy them because it's the cheapy yarn, even if I say I've done such and such to make them feel soft, etc?  Your comments are greatly appriciated.  Smiley

I'm still having difficulties... I have a couple small things ready, but I need to make another trip to find something else.. haha

Aww man you mentioning a sock monkey made me want to make a little steve doll with a khaki outfit and everything. >.<  I've never made a sock monkey, so I won't be the person to attempt that.  Roll Eyes Tongue

It seems that I'm having the same complication, thinking my ideas are lame seeming as how it's my first swap.  It's like "OMG... they're going to hate this and then no one will ever want to be my swap partner ever again!  I'll be a Craftster outcast!" haha  But I guess I'm just paranoid.  Though, I do need to make a trip to a different dollar store to see if I can find better things.
6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: Ever wear through your jeans at the inside thigh? (Unflattering pix inside) on: September 06, 2006 07:58:49 AM
OMG!  I wish I could've seen this like a year ago.  This totally happened to my favoritest pair of jeans and I was quite upset.  I'll have to keep this in mind next time it happens. haha  I think they look really good.  I'd totally wear them everywhere.  But I like it when people stare  Cheesy
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Croc pin in memory of Steve on: September 05, 2006 11:35:56 AM
I was inspired by my love for Steve Irwin and this post:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=118847.0  by craftster_kitten2007 to make a pin in memory of my beloved Crocodile Hunter.  Here it is:
I made it from perler beads and hot glued it onto a heart pin that's from a pin making set my friend had.  I'm going to wear it everywhere.

RIP Steve

I never thought of making a pin!  I'm going to have to do that and wear it everywhere.  I was absolutely heartbroken when I heard.  One of my life goals was to visit Australia and try to meet him.  Cry  He was absolutely amazing and helped so many animals. *cry*
9  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: I got this fabric on: August 22, 2006 07:45:10 PM
I still haven't gotten around to watching that or else I probably would've ;-)  But I still LOVE that fabric haha  It'd make a hott skirt, too ^.^

Heck yes if I had that fabric it would for sure be displayed on the OUTSIDE of the bag in its full glory!  *must go to that site*  And I agree, you should cut one of the boys out and patch him right on the front of the bag! Cheesy
