1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Wrist Warmers on: September 18, 2005 02:49:45 PM
My mum taught me how to knit last week, and for my first project I made some wrist warmers.

I got the pattern from Simply Knitting magazine and changed it slightly, so it's an alternating ribbed moss stitch instead of just one set of lines. Ack I'm bad at explaining, I hope you understand Tongue
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / My old folder on: September 15, 2005 10:30:45 AM
I covered this folder 2 years ago (and took the pictures then too) because I wanted something cool to start college with. I ended up breaking the inside over the course (so much work to put in it!), but I couldn't bring myself to throw it away.
The pictures are quite big so I've linked them.

3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Postcard on: August 11, 2005 09:19:22 AM
After viewing Tiki_Friki's thread "Postcard Made for Anonymous Mailing", I was inspired to look on www.postcardx.net and make a postcard.

A random click brought up a girl who likes butterflies and hearts, which I knew I had plenty of hehe. It was a pain getting the butterfly to stick so it's wings were raised as if it had just landed (it doesn't show up so well in the picture), but a pin in it's back while the glue was drying seemed to do the trick. The colours and glitter don't look so great in the picture, but I thought the green and red worked quite well together.
I'm gonna send it in an envelope so hopefully it won't get damaged in the post.
4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Homemade Stationary on: August 10, 2005 09:31:02 AM
I love pen palling, but unfortunately I have trouble getting hold of cute character stationary unless I buy online. One day I thought to myself "Why not try making my own? It can't be that hard", and after a little browsing for images this is what I came up with Grin

Sorry if the big text in the middle spoils the image, but I want them to be unique for me to write on.
