O.K. o.k.... last post for the night   I made this theatrical quality Spider Queen Ball gown by freehand crocheting the black pinafore, tiara and even the star for the wand's tip out of silky rayon ribbon yarn...... Stiffened the tiara in fabric stiffener, then stoned it with rhinestones.. then I added a purple satin skirt underneath and finished the corset style bodice with some funky purple gossamer ribbon.  I adore this style, would love to make the adult version, would'nt it be sexy... okay, I talked myself into it, I'm designing a crochet Authentic looking corset TONIGHT!!!! muaaaaawwww

I even made the hokey spiders from fat pipecleaners and googly eyes LOL... was really cute though how they made the skirt more realistic by pulling the chains down when I hung a few of the skirt!




The last pic shows the detail of the webbing and how the skirt looks when worn with a krinalin(sp?)...she wouldnt wear it in the pics

I have to say, I know there are ALOT of Hello Kitty fanatcics out there, and I really loved how close this came out to the real thing. My DD went nuts over it, but I think I have had more orders from adults than children, alas it's copywritten of course, so maybe I can get this published and then the publishers can get it approved with Sanrio  


I used a siiky/fluffy rayon chenille for the body and ears and hand-embroidered the face with more chenille, I am a whack-job Perfectionist when it comes to replicating something! LOL

I have seen a ton of disney patterns, so I am assuming there is a way to get a pattern book approved for characters?? Let's hope!

I used a rayon ribbon and cotton blend for this set, the ribbon gave a nice matte/shimmer effect and I added real denim (hand-cut and frayed from vintage jeans in the same hues) as the fringe, topped off with a crochet rose that's removeable
I know ponchos have been done to death, but I really like the cut of these and think the denim makes it pretty classic, it's sexier when worn this way(I have seen others that are sooo gorgeous like this too)  off the shoulder and really forgiving

 I made a gorgeous black gothic looking one with dripping spiderweb lace for a custom a while back just like this, thought it was pretty fab  
I am creating a new pattern now for the "real world" that has a longer tummy panel with an empire waist, another with a corset, lace up waist..yummy girly stuff!

I know...I Know...no more ponchos...BUT, this is sooo SEXY to me I DID at least make it a new look, star stitch shawl, and you can wear it 6 ways with the hidden ties... I just had a baby, so I can testify that these are MUST HAVES for hiding the post baby belly and still looks Fabulously sexy

I freehand crocheted this dress from my own design in Katia's "Gatsby", really silky and has a cool silvery sparkle effect. Custom made for a customer in Cali. who went to an awards dinner, and just HAPPEN to bump into Mr. freakin' TRAVOLTA! Woohoo!
