I found this tutorial a while back and tried making some of these bracelets.  I started off with plastic beads and decided that glass is my forte  I like to use 16 gauge wire for the bracelet form and 20 gauge for wrapping ... Anyhow, sorry I haven't posted anything sooner.  Here is a bracelet I made last night for my aunt for her birthday:

Simply gorgeous!  Great work   My grandma used to make these, and she's no longer with us ... It really makes me miss her   She left us, among other memories, a legacy of crocheted quilts!!!  Your family is sure to love that one

Just curious, my fellow Craftsters, if any of you all might know a decent affordable source for Swarovski crystals.  I have found some great bead sites on the web, but unfortunately, the shipping charges about override any savings.  If you know of anyplace, could you give a shout out?    Thanks very much!

I have started making these after seeing them on this site.  They are so much fun to make, darcangel!  Thanks for posting the tutorial   I don't have a digital cam, but I will post any pics if I can borrow one.  I find that copper is good to work with, and so is coated copper ... They sell black wire that is actually coated copper.  I like to use 16 gauge for the "frame" and 20 gauge for the beaded rows.  I simply find it makes a very sturdy piece.  If you use all glass, they get a little heavy.  I like a combination of glass, plastic, and crystals!!!  Thanks again for this idea!  You're great!!!
