my target never had it to begin with )=

That's not right.  They should stock the same stuff at all Target stores!
7342  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: One Tiny Thing Swap Gallery on: November 04, 2005 01:53:10 PM
Am I the only one who hasn't recieved?  Cry

All this because my grandparents just *HAD* to emigrate to England......(from Malaysia).

Nushybum, cheer up...I'm sure your tiny treasure is on its way to you.  Just think...it would have taken just as long for it to reach Malaysia or Singapore Wink

Not that it'll make you feel better, but it took 2 weeks for starpiste to get my stuff (and it was only going to Canada from the States!)

I live in Ohio and my local Target had it.

hehe.  that's funny.  Didn't happen to step on a scrap of yarn and bring it home stuck to your shoe too did you?

No, if that happened, I'd freak out!  I'm almost tempted to go to another Target to see if they have any of the lovely Boucle yarn left!  The one that I went to last night had the funky fringe, furry-type (kinda like faux mohair?) and basic acrylic yarn.  I picked up a little (ok...a lot) of each.  For 25 cents a pop, I couldn't care less if the cats play with it Cheesy

I saw that today.  Yesterday I saw a post about it being 50% off, so I checked and it's 4/$1    Cheesy  Yay!  I only got 5 or 6 though.

ETA: my husband was looking over my shoulder as I read this post, and said "FIFTY!" lol  I'm still buying more than I need, but at least now it doesn't seem so bad to him  Wink  hehe.

lol, I'm glad to be of help Wink  Yesterday, I was having a 'surreal' yarn day.  I spoke to my sister after my Target yarn frenzy and learned that she bought me a baker's dozen of yarn to add to my stash.  When I got home, there was a ball of Bernat Disco yarn in my mailbox.  Unbelievable Cheesy
7347  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Tiny crochet hook...and a dozen of crochet stitch markers! on: November 04, 2005 06:23:35 AM
Those are so pretty! Are the stitch markers just made with leverback earring findings? I love the wire ones best, and of course the tiny hook!

Thanks Smiley  Yes, they're really just leverback earring findings!  I didn't know what else to use, since my swap partner crochets (I knit, so my stitch markers are usually made with closed jump rings).

This is a neat idea...I'm adding it to my list of things to make for the folks on my Christmas list!  Thanks for sharing  Cheesy

7350  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Target Yarn...now 25 cents each! on: November 03, 2005 03:27:01 PM
Goodgrief.  I stopped by Target after work this evening for some cleaning supplies and what do I see?  Their $1 yarn is now 4 for a buck!  Can't beat that!  I bought about 50 skeins of yarn for less than $15 bucks.  Did anyone else get any?
