Why the heck would you be lifting a sewing machine?!?  I'm telling on you if you're crafting instead of resting!!  Haven't you heard of TV?!?  Okay...I'm gonna quit nagging...I promise.  I'm sure you get enough of that from your folks Grin

So...does anyone have any tips for mailing cookies?  I've never done it before.

Good question...I was wondering about that too!  I guess I'll have to figure it out Wednesday Wink
7215  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: One tiny thing swap 2 on: December 06, 2005 07:01:56 AM
PinkMafia received and asked me to post the pics of what I sent her, so here it is.

I made her a set of tiny 'Dia de Muertos' (Day of the dead) stationary. Here is the vinyl cover closed:

here it is open:

And here is the tiny stationary (it is approx. 4x5 in): tiny envelopes, tiny sugar calavera sheets, tiny note cards, calavera stickers and calavera buttons to match...

It was superfun to do and of course I am in for a next round!  Grin

Oh my!  CraftyZary, that's superb!

I'm really sad, I signed up for the swap, but I don't see my name  Cry.  Well I guess I have time to do something else now.  But I love cookies.  I guess my hubby will have to eat all the ones I made now.  Have fun guys, this is a great swap idea.

Oh dear.  Did girlwonder receive your answers to the swap questionnaire?
7217  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: There's nothing like a good sandwich on: December 05, 2005 08:33:39 AM
Wow...these ideas are terrific...and it's making me really hungry Tongue  My latest fav is a vegetarian croissant sandwich.  On the croissant, slather on mayo, alfalfa sprouts, sliced tomato, muenster and sliced cucumbers...oh and don't forget to drizzle a herbed vinegar/oil mix on the veggies!  Toast until crisp.  Yum!
7218  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Zippers are evilbut I like my new wristlet! on: December 04, 2005 08:26:30 PM
I don't really have a pattern for it...I just kinda winged it by trial and error Tongue  After making the wristlet, I found tutorials for making zippered pouches on Craftster (duh...don't know why I didn't check in the first place?!?).  I would refer to those tutorials for instructions.  If you wish, I can give you the finished dimensions of the wristlet, along with the length of the strap.  I'd be happy to help in any way I can...feel free to pm me with questions Smiley

Know that this post is a bit old now, but I thought I would finish off the story as it were - met up with my friend today to do our own Christmas celebrations, so I gave her the bracelet - she loved it, was amazed at all the charms and beads. It is soooooooo good when someone really appreciates the gift you have made for them Cheesy

TTFN - very pleased with herself

Surely you didn't even entertain the thought that she wouldn't like the bracelet  Shocked  It was lovely...and your friend's a lucky girl!
