sarah-, that's a bummer Sad  There will probably be another fabric swap in the works, mostly because there are a bunch of fabric hoarders on Craftster Grin

This weekend, I went through my craft stash to see what I needed to pick up at the store in order to make somebody a kick-arse wallet Smiley  In retrospect, I think this might be the worst case of craft-anxiety.  Ever.

Four more days till the fun begins Cheesy

I have absolutely no willpower when it comes to fabrics.  In my defense, it was hard to resist the yummy selection of cotton goodies when I was at the store this weekend.  The lady behind the counter asked me what I had in mind for my new stash.  I mumbled incoherently about needing to pick up fat quarters for a phantom quilt project.  Right.  I don't think so, missy.  I'm in trouble Tongue  That's the bad news.  The good news is I'm ready for this swap.  If not, I can always stop by the store again Wink

Hey sammyb!  Congrats!  I might have to hook you up with more cookies (if you're allowed to have them Wink)!

ladybugger, April would work for me Smiley  It's nice to have a tentative deadline because it'll keep me in check!  I'm almost done with one and if I put my mind to it, I should be able to finish a couple more before April comes around!

I have to be honest...I don't have specific plans for the fabric either!  It's interesting to swap fabrics because I love seeing what sort of fabrics my partner would choose to send to me, based on my answers in the swap questionnaire.  Often times, I'd receive something I like but never thought to purchase Smiley

Okay...it's me...again.  Yep, I received two swap packages today!  Hurrah!  This one was from dontlookback!  I wished for a tote and she made me a fabulous one!  It's done with a soft flannel-type fabric and the print is oh so pretty Smiley

There's more.  She also sent me a 'learn how to crochet kit'!  Uh-huh.  A huge ball of yarn, a crochet needle and a copy of Crochet! magazine for inspiration.  I'm floored by her generosity.  I've been wanting to re-learn how to crochet and this will definitely motivate me to get on with it!

dontlookback also requested that I take an action shot of the tote.  Unfortunately I'm already in my nightie, so my stuffie volunteered to do the honors.

Silly Gory, it's a tote!  It's NOT a sleeping bag  Roll Eyes  Thanks again, dontlookback!

Inspired by a project in Melanie Fallick's Weekend Knitting, I wanted to assemble a basket filled with yarn (odds and ends) and some needles for my visitors to fiddle with Smiley  Hence I wished for scraps of leftover yarn.

This evening, I received a package from lasandri and it was stuffed with all kinds of yummy yarn scraps Cheesy  I really love how she included a variety of yarns in different textures (she said she did it to inspire whoever comes by my place to knit!).  It was extremely thoughtful of her.  Thanks again, lasandri
