What will happen if no one picks something off the thread and its stalled for a long time?
said person gets a reason to go to the craft store
LOL, going to the fabric store would be a chore, wouldn't it
Seriously, that's why I thought about having people post a minimum of
8 options. If we're stuck after a day or two, the last person should add a couple more options. I think it's alright to post a variety of fabrics, as long as everyone honors the system that they should post fabrics that they would like to receive
Question: Will there be a max # of claims a person can have out? Or will there be some rule to determine when you can claim again, say after you've shipped out and your partner has received or something to that effect? Or do these types of rules not really apply to the ongoing swaps as much since they are a pretty even give and take? Just curious...I really have no opinion on this particular area of the swap, I've just noticed a lot of other swaps have similar rules and wasn't sure how this would go.
I think I will adopt the system used for the ongoing wish swaps
A newbie can have one claim, everyone else can have two claims, and FOCs can make three claims. When you have reached your max, you will not be able to claim anyone else's fabric offerings until one of your partners have received from you. So basically, you cannot owe more than the number of claims you can make. Did that make sense? It's getting late
