I think it's a perfect fit with your fiestaware dishes Cheesy

Looky everybody!  Here are the awesome items I received from my partner, jungrrl!

A trio of stuffies!  Yep, not one but three Smiley  Two monsters and a bat!  It's hard to pick a favourite, but I have a soft spot for lime green objects Cheesy  I will be adding all three stuffies to my permanent stash of Halloweenesque items...

To top things off, she also sent me a pin, a wallet, a cupcake and a notebook with a felt schnauzer's silhouette on it (I have a mini schnauzer, so this is really precious!).

Thank you so much for a terrific swap experience, jungrrl!

I'm done with all my swap obligations and I'm trying my darnest to sit on my hands so that I won't sign up for another swap so soon...but it ain't working *sigh*  A cynical one tiny thing swap sounds like the thing for me!  It'll be great if you could impose a size restriction of sorts...like no larger than 3 inches x 3 inches or something like that Wink

Hey Writer78!  I might be on board for this one...even though I'm trying really hard to stay away from swaps... Roll Eyes

The postal system has been really good to me lately!  I received my package of felt goodies from jungrrl when I went home during my lunch break *squeal*  Pictures of the wonderful items she crafted for me will be posted in the gallery this evening.  Jane Doe, thanks for organizing Round 2 of the felt swap!!

I'm feeling the same way too, but I'm hoping that my partner, jungrrl, will be pleased with what I made.  If not, I'm willing to make things right by sending her more stuff Grin

I sent out a package to jungrrl during my lunch break on Friday.  It's going by Priority Mail so she should get it early next week.  Meanwhile, I'll be biting my nails...hoping the package gets there...and hoping she'll like what I made for her Tongue
6978  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: TUTORIAL: SUPER CUTE WALLET! on: January 20, 2006 09:52:01 PM
Yes, I do.  That's another reason why I decided to handsew the sides of the Hello Kitty Wallet I made for a swap Smiley  Interfacing is a nuisance (in my opinion!) but it does make the wallet sturdier Tongue
6979  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Cotton Bandages for African Clinic on: January 20, 2006 07:47:22 PM
Iam makin the smaller ones I posted on the wish swap and LASANDRI  is sending me size 3 needles and ecru cotton!!  she ROCKS!!

I think it's cool that you asked for something that will enable you to make the cotton bandages (for a good cause!) in a wish swap Smiley

I know what you mean.  When I made a wallet, I ended up handsewing the sides because I figured my 20-odd year old sewing machine would have a fit  Roll Eyes  Did you still use interfacing with the denim material?
