I have to be honest...I don't have specific plans for the fabric either!  It's interesting to swap fabrics because I love seeing what sort of fabrics my partner would choose to send to me, based on my answers in the swap questionnaire.  Often times, I'd receive something I like but never thought to purchase Smiley

Okay...it's me...again.  Yep, I received two swap packages today!  Hurrah!  This one was from dontlookback!  I wished for a tote and she made me a fabulous one!  It's done with a soft flannel-type fabric and the print is oh so pretty Smiley

There's more.  She also sent me a 'learn how to crochet kit'!  Uh-huh.  A huge ball of yarn, a crochet needle and a copy of Crochet! magazine for inspiration.  I'm floored by her generosity.  I've been wanting to re-learn how to crochet and this will definitely motivate me to get on with it!

dontlookback also requested that I take an action shot of the tote.  Unfortunately I'm already in my nightie, so my stuffie volunteered to do the honors.

Silly Gory, it's a tote!  It's NOT a sleeping bag  Roll Eyes  Thanks again, dontlookback!

Inspired by a project in Melanie Fallick's Weekend Knitting, I wanted to assemble a basket filled with yarn (odds and ends) and some needles for my visitors to fiddle with Smiley  Hence I wished for scraps of leftover yarn.

This evening, I received a package from lasandri and it was stuffed with all kinds of yummy yarn scraps Cheesy  I really love how she included a variety of yarns in different textures (she said she did it to inspire whoever comes by my place to knit!).  It was extremely thoughtful of her.  Thanks again, lasandri

k8kre8s, that shirt is lovely!  I love that one of the birds made it to one of the sleeves.  The design is simple but well thought out Smiley

I am definitely enjoying the friendly (and witty) banter between the 2 monsters Smiley  For now, my money's on blue.  Those kumquat squirts are known to be lethal!

Whiskey, I think the idea of making a 'Craftster Quilt' for your first quilting project is brilliant Smiley  On my end, I'm already happily making plans to shop for six 1/2 yard pieces of cool fabric (so that I can send out six fat quarters and keep the rest of the fabric for myself!).  See, it always works out Grin

giggleycraft, the wallets are lovely and definitely original!  I know this is a wallet swap, but I must say that I'm quite in love with the beautiful duct tape mini messenger bag you created Smiley

Whiskey: I hadn't thought about that!  My goal was to add more interesting fabrics to my stash, but I would love to see your quilt if you decide to make it Smiley

giggleycraft: Yes, you're in!  Do you have any pictures of your 'duct tape goodies' that you can post?  I'd love to see some!

island-princess: Based on the enthusiasm of the folks who have signed up and those who have indicated an interest in doing the swap, I think this will be an awesome swap!
