I received a wonderful swap package from kircaldy this afternoon.  She sent me a top with a stencilled design, a bag and a chunky bracelet!

Thanks again, kircaldy!

Oh.  That's right.  That 'somebody' would be moi!!!  A_Patchwork_Orange, you're speedy!!!  She totally hooked me up with Japanese fabrics.  In addition to six FQs, she also sent me a 1/2 yard bonus piece.

They're all gorgeous!  I don't have any specific plans for them yet, but I'm sure they'll inspire new projects Smiley  Thanks, A_Patchwork_Orange!

I received a terrific swap package from Stifflersmom Smiley  She chose to fulfill my wish for a new craft journal, and she did an awesome job.  My new journal (which has a fear monster on the cover) looks waaaay better than my current one (which is plain, black...and boring...).  On with the pictures:

Yep, in addition to my lovely journal, she also sent me an ATC, a bunch of stickers and various bits of ephemera!  Here's a close-up of the ATC:

Thanks for the wonderful swap package, Stifflersmom!

ctgirl, that's quite a stash you received from kiki_eks!  The turquoise floral fabric is fabulous Smiley

Oh, did I mention that I received an awesome package of fat quarters from qazicat this afternoon???

I love the vivid colors and variety of fabrics that she chose for me.  The two FQs on the left (top and bottom) look great together!  I'll have to figure out how to use both fabrics in the same project!  Thank you kindly, qazicat!

Here are the awesome fat quarters I received from Ezri_B:

She totally fed my addiction for Japanese-themed fabrics.  The piece on the bottom left hand corner is hilarious.  It features various scenes of folks eating sushi.  One of my favourites is the one with the geishas.  Thanks for the wonderful selection of fabrics, Ezri_B!

396  Re: Design a Dream Wallet Swap (SIGNUP CLOSED ; MAIL BY 03/17/06) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by loves2experiment on: March 05, 2006 09:41:19 PM
I wanna see the swatches! Smiley

Oke Doke, Here's what luciabug selected Smiley

I was shopping for fabric for the 'A 1/2 Dozen of Fat Quarters To Go!' Swap and this was one that I decided on for one of my partners.  Somehow, I thought luciabug might like it for her wallet (based on her swap info), so I went ahead and bought extra quantities of it.  Then I got a case of swap anxiety and bought more fabric, narrowed it down to a few candidates and let her make the final pick.  I guess I should've stuck with my instincts  Roll Eyes  On the other hand, I'm a fabric junkie, and it was the perfect excuse to add to my fabric stash  Grin

There was a package of fat quarters waiting for me in my mailbox this evening...and they're from Yirq!!!  She sent me a bunch of lovely cotton fabrics and she did a terrific job selecting them, based on my answers to the swap questionnaire Smiley  Okay, here's a group shot of the fat quarters:

Hmmm...did you count them?  Yep, she sent me 7 fat quarters Wink  It's impossible to pick a favourite, but I'd like to mention that I've already got plans for the butterfly fabric.  I'm making my grandmama a black microfiber tote for her bible and I'm gonna use that wonderful butterfly fabric to line it!  I think she'll love it.  Yirq, thanks for feeding my fabric addiction!

Isn't he the sweetest??? I just love him! I wish I could get a better pic...you should see the amazing detail she put into it!

I'm really glad that you like Pokey!  I had a hard time letting him go but figured you'd take good care of him.  Anyhow, he's only an hour away from me, so I might request visitation rights Wink  You've got your wish, I did take a picture of him before I sent him your way:

Lately, I've been on a pincushion rampage Tongue  So ya never know...I might very well make somebody one Grin

Okay...it's me...again.  Yep, I received two swap packages today!  Hurrah!  This one was from dontlookback!  I wished for a tote and she made me a fabulous one!  It's done with a soft flannel-type fabric and the print is oh so pretty Smiley

There's more.  She also sent me a 'learn how to crochet kit'!  Uh-huh.  A huge ball of yarn, a crochet needle and a copy of Crochet! magazine for inspiration.  I'm floored by her generosity.  I've been wanting to re-learn how to crochet and this will definitely motivate me to get on with it!

dontlookback also requested that I take an action shot of the tote.  Unfortunately I'm already in my nightie, so my stuffie volunteered to do the honors.

Silly Gory, it's a tote!  It's NOT a sleeping bag  Roll Eyes  Thanks again, dontlookback!

Inspired by a project in Melanie Fallick's Weekend Knitting, I wanted to assemble a basket filled with yarn (odds and ends) and some needles for my visitors to fiddle with Smiley  Hence I wished for scraps of leftover yarn.

This evening, I received a package from lasandri and it was stuffed with all kinds of yummy yarn scraps Cheesy  I really love how she included a variety of yarns in different textures (she said she did it to inspire whoever comes by my place to knit!).  It was extremely thoughtful of her.  Thanks again, lasandri
