You know ... if someone was super organized and inclined to do so (LOL please don't ask me), someone could copy all the links posted, create a list, and new posters could just copy and paste + add their ETSY shop to the bottom of this thread.

We finally listed something other than our normal plates & platters LOL We call these wall plaques, Lizzybits - personalized little people who live on your wall. What do you think?

3  Re: Cool Wine Bottle? in What the heck can I do with THIS? by Serendipity Crafts on: December 04, 2006 04:57:22 AM
That bottle just screams lamp foot!!! I'd totally make it into a lamp

This is what I thought too. We bought some electrical accessories to make mason jar lamps - where the cord comes right out of the socket. Rather hard to see in the pic below but there was no drilling was required. Perhaps you could find one to fit into a cork?

I just listed my mother's birthday present! No no ... I am not really trying to sell her present - but this is what we gave her and this is what we have just listed. We are now venturing into the wonderful world of pet portraits Smiley

Price too high or too low for 6+ hours of work?

I'm not seeing that, but different people see different things.

The dreidals however are too long, they look like paddles. They should be shorter and more wide. Smiley

Some other's mentioned that as well and so we "tweaked" them a bit. Are these better?

Last one (and our personal favourite). This one is done in metallic gold & metallic bronze. The only thing we can't quite figure out is the placement of the names if the family has an odd number of members.

Dang - I was trying to make them as long as possible for "longer" names. Hmmm back to the drawing board (or painting table, as the case may be).

Second sample done. We noticed that the snow flakes seem to have a star of David "feel". Of course, some snowflakes could be removed & this could become a family plate instead.

Note: The snowman appears to be "grey" in parts - this is pearalized white paint that doesn't seem to want to photograph well, but looks lovely in person. Smiley

One down ... comments anyone? Is it ok to make the star of David solid?

A friend commented to us that the solid star of David reminded them of the patch that the Nazis would make the Jews wear. Would a silhouette of a dreidel be better?
