1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Find me something corkin'! on: February 18, 2007 09:51:36 AM
Hello, does anyone have idea what to do with plastic wine corks?

I work in a restaurant where wine is served and so obviously we have a lot of leftover corks. I originally brought some home for my mum to use (she's making a cork board out of corks), but the plastic ones are too dense, so I was wondering if anyone had any cool ideas about what I can do with them?

Thanks!

All seventy eight pages. I swear to you. I read every every EVERY single post. In one sitting.

lol i wish i was that dedicated, or indeed had that much time.

Ok, so its my friend's birthday next week, and I was very stuck for a present for her, but seeing this thread, and remembering that she wants to be a doctor, gave me the idea of "Doctor in a box" (sorry if this has already been done, i have tried to search in the thread but the searching server thingie is down at the moment).

I already have some shrek plasters which were too cool to resist, and I'm thinking about buying her a white t-shirt and making it look like a doctor's coat, but I'm stuck for what else to get. Any ideas?

Hello, i am the owner of the lovely scarf in question and it is indeed lovely but I can't find a nice picture of me in it, and I can't find the camera right now, so I shall have to post a bad picture of me in it with a very strange person in the foreground, until a replacement can be found. Enjoy:

that is amazing! its so neat aswell. if i tried something like that all the lines would end up skewed and off centre, but you've done a great job. Cheesy
