Actually fell in love with the yarn and stitch from crochetme; where the pattern there gives you the working knowledge to do the stitch (and explains it better than I could!!) I am just having fun seeing how far the stitch can be drawn out - with this scarf it was easy to drag out the loops over three inches and it looks so... "cascading" to me. I have found some green "ticker tape" stuff that I am trying to make in elongalated (sp?) stitches like this to mimic a shorter more fitting grass skirt.
Here's the stitch - just take out the alternating sc rows and see how long you can make the loops and still be able to keep the shape and stitch straight (much longer than the approx 3 inches I did required real concentration on my part so that I didn't "lose" what I was doing
Demitri is basking in the expressed admiration!
