That looks awesome!  May I ask where you got the chain?

How did you do the photography page?  The thing that looks like negatives?Huh I'd really like to do that.  I'm assuming you purchased something but don't know what as I have never seen that before.

Yep, I bought that paper.  It also reminded me of microfilm machines in the library-- you can print newspaper articles in inverted colors, which would turn out like that paper I used.  Thanks for compliments!

A few friends and I decided to make a scrapbook for our friend's 17th birthday.  We went so crazy at the scrapbook store and spent $100+ on supplies,  Grin  Sooo.. 4  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Unconditional Swap January on: January 08, 2006 04:50:52 PM
I live in San Jose, California.

1.) I go crazy for jewelry... but I'm not very good with loops and rings, so I'd love a dangly necklace or earrings with vintage-y charms (something like http://store1.yimg.com/I/sowear_1872_8273949 or http://us.st11.yimg.com/store1.yimg.com/I/sowear_1872_6682677)

2.) I'm also not very skilled with sewing, so a simple makeup bag or tote bag would be great.  I love fabrics such as the ones here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=50339.0 yayyy thank you!!

3.) A "stress-relieving" care package-- include anything you think will make me smile or help me relieve my stress from those upcoming finals!  Anything will be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!!!

I'm 17 years old and a very busy junior in high school.  My favorite colors are coral, turquoise, olive green, lime green, sea green (heck, any kind of green!), rich earthy colors like brown and pink.  I have a casual style mixed with prep or boho or whatever--I'm not picky.  I love retro/boho/vintage/nature designs, animals, yoga and pilates, baking, reading, and studying Roll Eyes.  Thanks to whoever picks me!!

8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: There's no excuse not to play cards now!! (with Tutorial) on: January 08, 2006 04:08:44 PM
i just finished making these cards and i'm in love with them!!!

(lol i didn't realize that the order would be reversed when i scanned them)

i got the pictures from this website: http://www.art-e-zine.co.uk/atcretro.html

i have a question: when you stuck the duraseal on, you only put it on the picture side, right?  and did it stick pretty sticky-ly?  i'm just wondering if it's sticky enough so the edges wouldn't peel away too easily.  i figured that since i don't have duraseal lying around the house at this moment, i shall just use that carpet-covering material for when people move and don't want to get the carpet dirty when they move the furniture around (forget what that's called).

10  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Unconditional Swap - December on: December 04, 2005 07:38:46 PM
I live in San Jose, California!

My three wishes:

1.) I go crazy for jewelry... I'm not very good with loops and rings, so I'd love a dangly necklace or earrings with vintage-y charms (something like http://store1.yimg.com/I/sowear_1872_8273949 or http://us.st11.yimg.com/store1.yimg.com/I/sowear_1872_6682677)

2.) A screened/sewn/anything small bag that I can put period supplies or little bits of makeup in.

3.) SURPRISE! your specialty or anything, really. thanks to whoever picked me!!  Grin

I'm 16 years old and a junior in high school.. this busy year means less time for crafting!  But let's see.. my favorite colors are turquoise, coral, olive green, lime green, sea green (heck, any kind of green!), and pink.  I have a casual style mixed with prep or boho or whatever--I'm not picky.  I love animals and all things nature, yoga and pilates, baking, and studying  Roll Eyes.  PM me if you wanna know anything else!  Thanks  Smiley
