1  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Thong-Th-Thong Along on: May 06, 2008 04:38:12 AM
Thank you so much for your reply. I sort of figured it out myself by looking at a picture on which I could see the detailing. Now thanks to you I know I did it the right way. Yay!
I'm almost finished with the thong. I'm kind of worried that it's a bit big, allthough I knitted the smallest size. I think I'm going to round up one of my housemates to try it on and model it for me!

I know it's been a while since you've posted, but hopefully you're still on craftster.

Wakeupdonnie, that green thong is brilliant!!!! I really want to make one to, a pink one! I've actually allready started, but I'm kind of stuck on the pouch part. I just don't seem to get that bit. Looking at your finished product has given me a better idea about it, but it's still not really clear.

I'm really need to finish this thong! It's for a friend of mine. It all started on a knit night when one of the guys (who does not knit) asked a friend of mine if she was knitting him a thong, and if so he would prefer pink. So out of that came a bet: if we (me) finish a pink thong for him by the end of may, he will wear it for a dip in the sea!!!! So you see, this thing has to be made, one way or another!

If you could maybe explain the pouch section for me it, that would be great. A lot of thanks in advance from me and all of my friends who will be on the weekendtrip to the sea and are dying to see the pink hottie in action!

Did you ever happen to finish you man thong? I do hope so, because I'm also struggling with the pouch part and it would be great if you could share any tips with me.

Oh my! That is brilliant!

You should send these in to this site (stuff on my cat)!!! Your cats would fit straight in with the rest of them.
5  EUROPE / SPAIN / Yarn store in Madrid? on: August 24, 2007 05:01:35 AM
Hola! I would love to do this in Spanish, but unfortunately it isn't good enough, so here I go.

In a couple of weeks I'm going on holiday to Madrid. I'm so excited! And I was wondering wether there are any nice yarn stores there that I should check out. And who better to ask than lovely craftsters!

So if you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it if  you would let me know. Thanks!

8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: My first dress! Pretty in Pink on: February 16, 2007 05:44:18 AM
This is so beautiful! I think because it's so simple . It makes it girly, yet in an elegant, non frilly kind of way.  And the button at the back...you did a lovely job. I adore it!

Everyone made beautiful things!

apixiegrl - That hat in your first picture is beautiful! I've been looking for a pattern for something like that. Could you tell me what pattern you used? I would really appreciate it! Thanks.

That's just brilliant!!! I really really like this, especially the seethrough pocket! I can never find my scissors or needle on the go. It's just fabulous. This may even be a reason for me to get my sewing machine out again. Not that mine would be anywhere near a nice as yours, but hey I can at least try, right?!
