Super cute!

Where'd you find the silhouette?  While your dog is adorable, I'd like to make some Labs for my couch.  Otherwise, I think my dogs would have some identity crises.

Did you cut out that area around the dog's ears?  Or did you draw on the silhouette to get the same effect?  I've been trying to figure out the best way to portray my four-legged kids, but couldn't figure out how to work their downward floppy Lab ears!!

Yup, the pillows are sitting at the top of the photos.  They're also kinda reversible with the light blue on one side, and the navy on the opposite.  I just made accent pillows as I didn't have enough scraps for shams.  Oops.

Thanks for all the compliments.  The fabrics were from my favorite local fabric shop (www.elmwoodvillagef abrics.com).  The owner and I lay out all the possible combinations and come up with a plan.  She's a great help!

Here's a "stacked coins" quilt I made for my friend as a wedding gift.  It's a queen sized quilt, and I did made some small (16x16) matching pillows.  The stacks actually go vertically on the bed, but it was photographed sideways (whoops).  The backing is a darker blue with one stack going horizontally, so it has a more "manly" side if her husband should like to flip it.  I know my quilting lines aren't perfect, but that's what makes it homemade Smiley
5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Amy Butler Brick Path on: December 20, 2009 01:40:39 PM
Here's a full sized quilt I made for a friend's benefit auction.  I used the Amy Butler Brick Path pattern, which is available free out on the internet.  The fabrics are a mix of fabulous stuff from my local quilt shop, but do include a bunch of Amy Butler's fabrics anyways.

Ooh, does the one with the Canadian flag have a little Tim Horton's around back??  Great work for the feathery friends of the north!

I got my parents a farm-rejected Patterdale (she wasn't into catching mice) a few years back.  They loved my lab mix, but said she was too big.  So a little research and a lucky day reading the Classifieds, I found them Maggie!

and what did you use to fill the bed?  it's got a great shape!
