1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Vogue Knitted Bolero Summer 2005 on: October 06, 2007 09:57:19 PM
So I've been working on this project for a long time and after years of having almost everything done, I've decided to pick up the project again.  Problem is I can't find my pattern, and the only thing I have to finish is the 7 st picot lace edging.  If someone with the pattern could post or PM me the directions, I would be so appreciative.

Here's a link to a picture of the lace I have done.  I'm honestly not trying to scam the patternmaker, I just want to finish this  Cry

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Problems with Cotton on: August 07, 2005 01:59:09 PM
I'm making Knitty's Kyoto, and though I'm not quite up to the blocking process, I'm foreseeing some problems.  First of all, the MC of the sweater is white, and the sash is a bright pink (I'm using GGH Java, not the recommended Cotton Classic the pattern reccommends).  I had to frog my first attempt at the sash, and while I was washing the yarn to get the kinks out, I noticed that the water had tinted a bit.  This is going to be a problem with the white, isn't it?  I'm not going to have to dry clean, am I?  Should I wet block the white pieces and pink piece seperately?  Is this sweater destined for tragedy?  *Cue Soap Opera music*

Please, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
