1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Discussion and Questions / Brother e-touch Embroidery fabric on: November 04, 2005 01:32:10 PM
Anyone know where I can get some more fabric, memory cards etc for the Brother e-touch embroidery machine, in particular the fabric?

Thanks!

Hi!

That seems much clearer! Thumbnails are a good idea or if you're unsure, how about  'group photos' (like your gift certificates one)  for showing your full range?

Best Wishes,

Tallulah

Hi again!

You could try making the current text bolder or putting something like Click on an image to see more as a kind of heading above the images rather than where you currently have 'click here to view all'.  For me it wasn't immediately obvious that there were more to be viewed, but  not because of the phrase itself, you probably just need to make it stand out more. Hope this helps!

You can join an affiliation scheme as a merchant to help market your products through other sites (known as Affiliates) who are looking for ways to earn revenue from their own. If they like what you do they place your banner link on their site for which you pay a commission to them for every sale you make that came through from their site.

It may be a bit too expensive for you just yet so I would be inclined to stick with linking for now & consider selling on ebay too if you don't already. Much cheaper than the affiliation schemes but take a look at www.affiliatefuture .co.uk anyway. Their site's easier to understand than some of the other ones!

Good Luck,

Tallulah

I see what you mean, but don't be afraid of charging the going rate for shipping your products internationally which customers may of course not be able to get anywhere else. The postage may work out cheaper too if they place a bigger order (Christmas is on the horizon!). I would certainly make it clear that international shipping is available. I'm UK-based so I don't know about Canadian couriers, but 2 suggestions to start you off (if you haven't already tried them) are All Canadian Courier Corporation & Canadapost. Compare as many as possible, a bit of detective work now on those shipping costs could pay dividends in the long-run! Also have you tried selling through ebay? Can't get much more exposure than that!

Good Luck!

Love your stuff!  Do you ship internationally? If you do I would be interested in linking up with you, if not please consider shipping at least non-electrical items overseas which would broaden your customer-base.

I agree, I'd forget the intro page you really don't need it. People like to have a good rummage & would much rather see what you've got to offer. 'New In' & perhaps with Halloween & Christmas in the offing you could have seasonal jewellery on your Home Page too. A Welcome section always goes down well.

Don't forget to have a links page & maybe think about setting up an affiliation scheme. Look forward to seeing your site & Good Luck!
