I got off to a slow start, but I finally uploaded my loot from days 12- 9 . Wahoo!

I am so relieved to be done with this swap!  Between finishing this and the LSAT, I don't know what to do with myself!  It's nuts!

LSAT and this swap. You are CRAZY! 

I just got 2 heavy packages containing days 12 - 7. I shouldn't have opened the boxes. All of the gifts are wrapped in functional gift wrapping and it is hard not to peek and then cinch the bags right back up. AHHH! I wish you all could smell it. Yummy! Candy and Peanut butter and peppermint.

These are horribly difficult to properly photograph, but I figured, since I haven't seen anyone else post them, I would give it a shot (I've never posted anything before, other than swaps).

Extremely easy to make, just buy the clear glass ornaments, print a picture out on transparency paper, cut it to fit the ornament, curl it up and slide it in.  I once read somewhere that they recommend glitter, but as you can see from the ornament in the rear, it's not the best idea - too much static makes it cling to everything and it's hard to make out the photo, otherwise the other 2 photos are very vivid IRL.

Vellum works just fine in printing out photos.
Neat-O looking! Any suggestions for where to buy transparency paper?

I wonder if you could use vellum scrapbook paper. That's about the same thing right? I know you can print words but I wonder if pictures show up?

Great idea on thin paper because I made one for a friend like that but with glossy printer paper and let's just say it was a pain trying to get it in the hole

Looks fantastic! I just did my first (patterned and measured) piecing project and I must say that I have a new found respect for all of those tiny pieces and strait lines. Good work.

I am in Utah and it was 65 degrees yesterday. This is so unusual for the state that boasts "the greatest snow on earth" and "ski utah". But since I am pregnant and can't snowboard this year, I think it is FANTASTIC.

The snowman are painted gourds. I outlined them with a wood burning tool.

I made these tree ornaments last year from Stephani Cognon's (?) "Soft Trees" templates.


These were for the 12 days swap. They are just wood shapes painted and glittered.


Two years ago these were on my little shelves, but last year they made it to the tree.


These are made by cutting out 6 of the same shape, folding them in 1/2 and then gluing cute rickrack to make a hanger.


I'm working on some more now, but they are for a swap, so I'll have to revisit this thread.

DUH... I've just finished my 3rd Day 6. HUH? you ask... I honestly thought I was following my list, but I was following my idea list when it came to day 6. Now I need to make a couple more and turn them into higher days. Haha! I'm a dork. But, now I am closer to being done that I thought. Only 4 more big items and this baby is in the mail!!!
