21  Nothing Fancy... Just new pillows in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by SewingLori on: September 20, 2007 03:13:08 PM

I've been needing to recover some pillows on my couch for quite sometime, and when I found this Joel Dewberry fabric I became totally motivated. I made the green pillows some time ago, and traded the vintage ones for some crafted goods. I needed to tie this orange into my purple couch, so I figured this solution worked the best.  Can purple be neutral? Anyway, as the title says, nothing fancy, but sure beats what was replaced!

27  Re: Once You Pop You Can't Stop Swap #4 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by SewingLori on: August 02, 2007 06:42:43 AM
I finally got all of my pics edited. I had a great time chatting it up with Suzie and her sidekick Wendy (aka. lil' sis) at Noodles & Company.

Unfortunately, my sidekick (aka. 3 YO son) didn't think it was that great of a time and he fell asleep standing up under the table and snoozed the entire time.

But, we ate good food and got a lot of goodies. I'll tell you all, Suzie packed that can so tight I couldn't get the stuff out. (go ahead and post the pics, Suzie) She had to be my knight in shining armor and get it out for me. Okay - enough story - lookie what I got!
Fabric and a cute felt birdie appliqu:

Earrings, Stitch Markers, and Bracelets - in my most favorite colors!!

An owl pillow from my wists. I have to stuff it - Suzie is fabulous, but she isn't Houdini.

A crochet clutch...

that is fully lined.

And... Sticking with the food container theme and because she is the sweetest Suzie ever, she brought Cohen a chinese take-out box with pirate decor containing this crayon roll and a cute little monster finger puppet that has disappeared for the photo shoot. I'll get a pic up later.

Thanks again Suzie. I had a great time at lunch yesterday and I love my goodies! We'll swap again. Smiley
