A little late, but wanted to show off the gift I gave my husband-to-be for Sweetest Day.  We are getting married on January 28, 2012 and so I wanted to do something handmade that would mean a lot and yet not break the bank, so I came up with this.

I listened to a TON of songs and collected 14 that had the most meaning to me and related the most to our relationship.  I didn't include any wedding songs at all, because I'm going to do another mixed cd for our anniversary that includes wedding songs!  I took snippets of lyrics that meant the most and wrote them out on notebook paper.  I made them into a booklet journal of sorts by using scotch tape.  I then took those songs and put them into a mixed cd.  I included a letter in the front that served as his card, and then also included another card that just told about my hopes and dreams for us as a couple.  He really enjoyed it!

Received some amazing cloths from Diane - gerbilgal.  They are so great.  All of these cloths with the "pictures" on them have really inspired me to start knitting.

The first is gorgeous pink varigated cloth with an embossed Awareness Ribbon.  I love that it's pink, as my grandma is breast cancer survivor, but it's also great just as a symbol for my mom who is going through treaments for Colorectal Cancer.



The second cloth is of two snowpeople with a heart in between.  Such an adorable snow man and woman   Mom and I love snowmen SO much!

Think Of The Children: I can't imagine how frustrating this must be.  Sometimes love truly is blind, and this case sounds exactly like that.  Should I be happy I'm an only child?! lol

Liberating/Glum: I'm glad that you were able to get over whatever it was, but at the same time I'm sorry it's caused you/the situation to leave you glum.

Indi Wannabe: I love Indiana Jones movies and have always thought how awesome it would be to be him.  I love watching all of the shows where they unearth treasures/creatures.  Archaeology is amazing!

Love/Hate: I hadn't heard about BPD before, so I looked it up.  I cannot imagine what a person goes through that has this disorder.  I really feel for you.
