11  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Discussion and Questions / Holes in my screen block? on: February 24, 2011 03:01:07 PM
Hey!

Im using Daler Rowney System 3 Removable Screen Block Tins, but after just 3 uses of the screen, (rinced each time with cold water. pin prick holes are apearing in my screen block!

Help! how do I stop this?

Have you googled for recipies? I would imagine either drying the plants and grinding them then adding them to an oil (linseed?) or water?

Or instead of using a recepie why not just play around and see what you get?Cheesy Would love to see your results!

The background colour is stunning, bold and chunkey, I like the delicate pencil contrast on that. I would leave it as it is to be honest! Its a beautiful drawing! Simple! and yes the back ground is beautuful! Maby in a straight edged very very dark brown frame? Or even chesnut?
