2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / KNIT OWL PURSE!!!! on: December 03, 2005 03:21:14 PM
i needed a bag to carry around my knitting in so i decided to make one. it's completely hand sewn and has a double liner of this great orange fabric that i was going to make a dress out of and never got around to it and red crushed velvet so that you just see red when looking through the knitting. it has a felt tree branch and owl on the front with leafs around the handle. it's large enough to carry a completely new knitting project, ipod, cell phone, book, script, gum ,scissors, small sewing kit, camera and wallet

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / red ipod cozie!! on: November 27, 2005 08:26:03 PM
i made another ipod cozie. I know it's not near as creative as the felt toast one that i posted awhile ago but i decided i wanted to try something other then another scarf...it's only the second thing that i've knit but i'm rather happy with it.

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / MY FIRST TIME KNITTING!! DUN DUN DUN...IT'S A SCARF!! on: November 26, 2005 06:54:47 PM
wow, i've had such a wonderful day. I finished my first scarf today...actually i'ts more like my first knitting project EVER. I did it all in a days work. Well, basically...i knitted everything yesterday and just had my grandma show me how to finish it this morning. I'm addicted to knitting now and have already started my next scarf. once i finish this one i'm going to try more complex things...

so this is it...it's nice and long and i love it. it's such an amazing feeling to wear something that you know you made!

and so you can see how long it is...

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / felt cupcake __[you fill in the blank]__ holder! on: November 17, 2005 07:11:36 PM
for my birthday this year a friend of mine made me a bunch of cup cakes spelling out "HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVEE" so i thought as part of her present for her birthday, that is coming up in a few weeks, i would make her a cupcake...but in my style... which means in felt.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/pieceofflesh/cupcake.jpg

i knew that i wanted it to close and i've never really experimented with zippers so i decided to turn the cherry into a button. now i know the stitching is sloppy but i've always been a fan of the very DIY look so i actually like it that way...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/pieceofflesh/icecreamstitch.jpg

when i started making this i wasn't really sure what this little "bag thing" would be used for but i looked around my room and found that it was a great size for a cell phone, make-up, mini iPod, small sewing kit, and many other small miscellaneous items....

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / toast iPod cozie on: November 16, 2005 06:20:54 PM
hmm well i guess this is where i would put this post..

7 pieces of felt for $1.00 so i thought that i just had to get some and then i thought "well stevee, what do you need?" and of course i came up with what every toast lover needs....a felt toast iPod cozie!!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/pieceofflesh/toast1.jpg

i always just throw my iPod into my school bag so i thought that i would add some padding...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/pieceofflesh/toast2.jpg

and then being the complete dork that i am...in crappy lettering on the back it reads "iToast"

7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / "his hands caressed the velvety smoothness of her bare back" on: November 05, 2005 03:34:55 PM

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/pieceofflesh/speakking.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/pieceofflesh/speakkking.jpg

besides re-enforcing the 'bubbles' this is done so i thought i would share.
oh and if anyone is wondering the cut outs by their heads read ""his hands caressed the velvety smoothness of her bare back"  and then the lettering throughout the center says "and then he tore her heart out"...i'm not sure how i feel about it.
8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / First time posting art... on: November 02, 2005 03:24:19 PM
(ahh i hope i'm doing this right!...if not, sorry???)

these are mainly small sketches that i do instead of paying attention in class and then come home and paint instead of doing homework...but i still believe that my priorities are in order Grin
