1  Blue Sweater with Buttons :) in Knitting: Completed Projects by Robsica on: October 04, 2007 09:05:23 AM
Finally finished sewing this up this morning, I haven't had much time for knitting lately because I started uni (which is amazing! Although it's in London, which is a bit scary after spending all my life in the english countryside!). Anyway, I love it very much! I originally planned a cowl neck, but ended up running out of yarn and I haven't gone yarn shop exploring here yet, so I changed my plans. I think I like it better this way anyway. Both cuffs and the waist border button up. It's my favourite made up pattern so far!

Here you go....

2  Accidental scarf! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Robsica on: September 08, 2007 03:42:59 AM
I bought this yarn for the ribbing of a sweater, but being forgetful I didn't take the swatch for the rest of the sweater yarn shopping with me, so of course it ended up not matching! But no matter, it made a lovely scarf:

The cable was also a accident, it was meant to be a normal basic cable but I crossed it the wrong way near the start and couldn't be bothered to rip back, so I kind of worked it in!

I love this so much....I've been wearing it pretty much constantly since I finished it, despite it being August! First thing I've made that I really like and will be wearing all the time  Smiley

I received from purplefluffycow today!!!!! She sent me three pairs of gorgeous earrings. They are completely my style, I can see myself wearing these constantly!

My photography really doesn't do them justice, but here we go.....

Thank you!  Grin

7  Green funkiness in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Robsica on: August 14, 2005 05:49:35 AM
I found this skirt in a charity shop. It was mid-calf length, tight and khaki and not terrible pretty - so, I chopped off a few inches so it was just above the knee, added triangle panels at the sides, put pockets on the back, sewed on some zips and trimmed it all with ribbon. Oh, and stencilled the patch on the back pocket.  Smiley

This is the back:

Front:

Pocket: (sorry you can't see it very well)

I need to finish putting ribbon on the front pockets, but it's near enough done!

8  Black and Purple Corset-esque Hoodie! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Robsica on: August 05, 2005 04:35:20 AM
This is just finished today, it has dominated my life for the last week!

I'm not entirely happy with the front, I had trouble with the fastening...it still needs a couple of press studs but I need to go and buy those. The ribbon and border looks slightly blue in the picture, it is actually bright purple! Strange things my camera does.....I also had to teach myself to crochet from the internet to do the sleeves  Cheesy
