     I've never really ever had good luck with iron patches staying put and always end up sewing them on.  It seems that ironing them on holds them in place long enough to sew them on.  I am certain that the awesome crafters on here have a suggestion for you.  Best of luck and I'd love to see some pics when you're finished  Smiley
