I am getting slightly off topic here again, but this thread has been truly inspiring.  I made this design to print on a t-shirt....

I love this idea so much I am going to make some magnetic hemoglobin for a Biology project next week!  Thanks for the inspiration!

Awesome! I'd love to see it when you're done!

This was such a great idea that I had to copy it.  I made a hemoglobin magnet set to explain various hemolytic anemia disorders to my Biology class.  The globin chains fit together like a puzzle with the beta chains on top and the alpha chains on the bottom.  I made a normal red blood cell and some atypical 'sickled' cells as well.  The spiky, dangerous Sickle cells have litte sunglasses too...because they're the punks of the erythrocyte world.  Thanks again for the inspiration!

6  My Daughter's Room (Lots of pictures) in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by UkeBoy on: October 16, 2005 07:45:32 PM
Here are some pics of my daughter's freshly painted bedroom.  My wife and I painted the walls solid pink and then added some murals inspired by a magazine article.  It was a lot of work but totally fun.

8  Paradise Table in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by UkeBoy on: September 12, 2005 07:33:02 AM
Hello all!  I had this old tv table in my garage and finally decided to do something with it...I painted it 'Mango Madness', 'Guava Green', and 'Coconut Milk White'. Distressed it with my sander and decoupaged some vintage Hawaiian post cards to the top.  It makes a cool spot for my two soprano ukes to hang out.
