1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Knit bacon and eggs hand bag/hat? on: May 05, 2006 11:37:48 AM
Does anyone have a copy of this saved to their computer/favourites/website/anywhere?! The original link doesn't work and I'd love to see the pattern! Remember it? It's from the pages of the Jackie Annual 1979.
I'd be greatly appreciative of any help! Thank you.
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Polaroid Picture Made Of Felt on: November 27, 2005 11:42:28 AM
So I basically have this:

Anyone have any ideas as to what I can put on the black part and possibly any phrases to go with it that I can write/embroider onto the white part? Or does anyone have any websites that may give me ideas?
It's just two pieces of felt, one white, one black. I've not stuck them together yet, it makes sense not to. It's supposed to be a Polaroid picture.
White part: 8.8cm x 10.8cm
Black part: 7.7cm x 7.9cm
(Measurements are the exact measurements of an actual Polaroid picture.)

Anything will be greatly appreciated. : )
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Telephone ring... Ring ring... (5 pictures) on: August 10, 2005 11:08:15 AM
I went into one of my local craft shops (the newly named Craft Wise for those of you in the UK, Leeds) and headed straight for the doll house accessory part. There I picked up a blue telephone. I had a look around the rest of the shop and found ring bases. I got home later and glued the actual phone piece of the telephone onto the telephone base (I'm not doing very well explaining, am I?) with super glue and then put that onto the ring base with super glue. A couple of hours later I checked to see if it had stuck but to my disappointment the telephone came off. I roughened up the ring base with a nail file and tried again. It worked! Here are some photos:

(Some have been repeated, I know. And maybe if I could stop shaking the pictures wouldn't be so blurry.))

So what do you think?
Oh, and this is for a friends birthday so shhh!
