I've been eyeing this project.  You guys did a wonderful job.  I wish I knew how to convert this to a top down pattern I hate having to put things together...ugh.  Again you guys did a wonderful job on this  Grin

I think a few people did make it top-down, have you read through the whole thread? There may be enough discussion about it that you can convert it (or maybe somebody did already, I'm not sure)

I didn't read anything on an actual pattern for knitting this in the round, but I"ll take another look through.

It's been a very long time since I've knitted anything and I've missed it to much Cry.  So as my way of coming back I thought I'd give this hat a try  Cheesy.  Here is my progress (sorry for the messy pictures).  I started knitting this hat 2 days ago.

Ugh it shows I haven't knitted something in a long time. I had to unravel mine. When it came time to decrease my stitches were of.  I was reading the pattern wrong all this time!!!!!!  Ughhhhhhhhh I made such a simple mistake.  But I started it back up last night, so now I'm on the ribbing section  Sad.  I'm glad this pattern is pretty quick so hopefully I'll be back up to where I was in the next few days.

I'm not a fan of the back of the hat (again, I blame my giant head), but I think I pom-pom will fix it:

Love your hat...it's looks great.  And the color is fantastic.  Congrats on getting married  Smiley
