Guys are hard to think of presents for. So I decided to try my most non subtle way of finding out what my friend wanted - directly asking him.
Anyways, when I asked him what he wanted he said...himself. lol So I wanna do him "in a box" by basically putting items that relate to his interests/personality. Though I've only met him this school year and known him for only a few months, he's become a very good guy friend of mine. It's a completely platonic relationship though. =)
So what about him? He's a hilarious guy and uber nice. He's a 17 year old Asian boy who's going to be heading to university/college next September. He is mostly taking arts courses (like photography, visual, media and desktop). He is also Christian and works as a swim instructor. Like most boys I know, he's into electronics and techy stuff. He also likes Snoopy. Chinese music (C-pop) is his favourite type of music. (I can't really burn him a CD or anything though because he uses an mp3 player.) Foodwise, all I know is that I often see him eating an apple in the hallways and he usually has a thermos with tea in it. His favourite colours are blue and white.
So far for the "him in a box" I have:
-a Snoopy keychain that I made
-packs of green tea
-chocolate truffles (because he's so nice and sweet =P)
However, as for the sketchbooks, I'm not sure if I should give him one of them or all four. I was thinking that four might be a bit overboard but I'm not sure as I'm not into the arts. I mean...can you have too many sketchbooks?
Any suggestions, crafty or not, will be greatly appreciated. =)
