1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / help me with my book project on Coco Chanel!! on: February 12, 2006 07:58:27 AM
hey everyone, i just need your help with my LA biography book project. Basically we have to read a biography then make a "wheel of knowledge" with 10 facts about that person.

I picked Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel ,because i found a book and i thought I could use pics of her clothing and accessories, etc)

So, for the wheel of knowledge thing, it doesn't even have to be a wheel, it could be whatever shape you want (like someone did a nurses bag b.c they did Clara Barton), and i'm not sure what to do. any ideas? i was thinking about a black dress, or a perfume bottle, and a handbag, but i really have no idea.

and it's due on St.Patricks Day.

plz help if you can i can't think of what to do!

7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / 1st grade ccd crafts on: September 30, 2005 03:47:53 PM
hello! i am not really sure what to put this under so i am going to put it here.

My mom is going to be a 1st grade ccd teacher. she needs some ideas for the kids to make/color/whatever, becuase the lesson in the book is only 3 pages. any ideas/websites/ or projects are helpful!

lots of the activities in the book include color/tracing/ filling in the blank if that helped

any ideas are appreciated! please remember that they are 1st graders, the craft should not be too expensive, and that the class is 1 hour and 15 min.

also, games or activities would be good too!

plz help!! Smiley
Thanks!
