544  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: Any ideas for my water party on: August 03, 2005 02:45:34 PM
wat bout  havin a slip n slide, for more water fun, maybe u could make an obstacle course, with 2 teams

~put on wet sweat shirt AND pants (like Retro said)
~run around the tree twice
~pop 2 water balloons (with no hands)
~slid down the slip and slide (u could put shaving cream or sumthin for ppl to fall into at the end of the sns)
~bob n a bucket of water for sumthin (apple is the trad., but u could do nething)
~ run back to ur team, backwards
or sumthin, obstacle courses r always fun
~u could play fire drill-everyone on ur team stand n a line, the first person fills up a bucket (have a hose or maybe a kiddie pool with sum of those splash bombers to get the water out), then they pass it down the line, the last person pours it n a cup and pass the empty bucket back down the line to get re- filled, the first team to fill their cup wins (but the faster u try to go or the longer the line is, the more water is gunna fall out, so u gotta try to b careful)
~serve lots of water bottles

~a bag of microwave popcorn
~movie mints
~ star cookies with their name (i got this off this site)
~a paper star that says 'thankz for comin to heather's sweet sixteen'
~a few balloons
~a paper film strip with a pic of me n them n it (heres the idea, but im doin it way smaller, i figure
~a disposable camera (lights, camera, action!)

u could give away small hotel-in-a-box favors, so everyone can have the hotel experience once the party is over, im not totaly sure wat to put n there, maybe sum travel stuff, a pic of a room service guy (if hes a cute one, lol) a mint (for the pillow), slippers (since u couldnt reely put a bath robe in a box, lol) n ne thing that u did at ur party, like an inflatable microphone, if u guys did kareokye, or sum homeade truth or dare cards, for them to use when they have there own parties... maybe u could put 14 of sumthin, since ur turning 14, like 14 kinds of little candies or erasers or sumthin

when i stay at a hotel, we always have pizza, but u could change it up and get chicken wings or sumthin else from a deliver place

as far as the other favor ideas, food, games, i'll get back to ya when i get sumthin

set up a table with cards for ppl to fill out, then put em n a box for her to read, when ever she need sum support, n it would b wat ppl could do if they arrive early to the party or w/e

wat about interactive food, like a taco bar, sundae bar, salad bar, burger bar, or if bein crazy is wat ur into, a mix ur own drink bar

have a trivia game about the guest of honor, that everyone can play, to win like a basket or a gift card or sumthin

hold a scavenger hunt, just make it more fit for the older-teen crowd, involving driving to places, going door to door making a fool of urself, lol

again, if drinkin is ur style, u can google drinking games and have everyone play sum of those to pass the time, i bet by the end of a game, everyone will b havin a blast Cheesy lol

if u guys like gambling, u could play poker, black jack, texas hold em, or w/e the guest of honor's fav. is

play lots of music, so everyone can dance

hang lights n the trees, for lights to dance to outside, by the fire

put a sheet out on a table for everyone to sign and write notes to her, she can think bout the party and all her bfs everytime she looks at it, or maybe a pillow case, purse, etc.

srry if ne of the ideas r lame, im 15, so they r all cool to me, lol
