Hey, I haven't posted over on these boards in a long time....

I got this fiber last month in Spunky's FOTM club.
Its 100% Romney

and now on the the FO!!!!! I made the Amanada Squatty Side Kick Bag. I used the handspun for the body and some leftover black for the bottom and the center part of the handles. This is my new favorite bag.

Cherry Blossom Beanie

I made this over the weekend with some left over yarn.
I'm going to try and write up a pattern for this one. It's so cozy!
I made it for my friend Cherie. She loves anything about cherries and the chart reminds me of cherry blossoms!

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Interlocking Waves Beanie on: October 01, 2007 06:55:45 AM
This hat took no time at all. I started it friday night and had it finished by saturday night.
I'm not usually one to wear a beanie, but this one is totally cute!

Misson falls 1824 leftovers (from my bf & brothers hats)
A little bit of Merino handspun/handdyed.

I used the London Beanie pattern as a reference but had to increase the stitches so i could fit the chart in.

More coasters.
I really like the way these turned out.
I love that pink.purple.strippy glass.

I also slumpped a beer bottle this weekend. Very cool. It's just a clear New Castle bottle.I'm using it as a spoon rest.
A girl from my work gave me an Absolute Vodka bottle to slump this weekend.

I made my new puppy a sweater. It's already too small but thats ok.

The pattern is Casey's Dog Sweater.

I'm working on another one for him. It's wool-ease again. I'm designing the pattern this time. I'm using the Wide Cable pattern from "the knitting bible" Here's a picture of the chest piece.

10  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / My 1st Fused Coaster on: August 22, 2007 08:00:00 AM

I've been lurking for a bit. I do lampworking, but I made my 1st fused coaster 2 weeks ago. I have a jen-ken kiln w/ digi controller. I'm using system 96 glass. I think I did pretty well for my 1st time. I need to make my kiln wash smoother or get some shelf paper. I got little lines on the back of the glass. Thats alright, it's my 1st time and I think I did pretty good.
