1  Velvety coffin bag! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ~Otherside27~ on: November 01, 2006 07:43:49 AM
Arg what time is it I'm in the UK and my camera has been wonky!
*quickly* this is my bag:

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/42326540/ incase didn't work!

Its wood inside, with velvet glued and sewn on the outside and inside.
First I made the inside frame, out of 2 coffin shaped 1cm thick pieces of wood and 2mm thick for the sides and bottom, I believe.
There is purple crushed velvet on the inside and on the ankh detail here:

Here is the inside, there are foam cushions glued in under the lining material to cushion anything in the bag from breaking! You can also see the zip.

[edit] I totally forgot the end! This is how the chain strap is fastened on; D rings and a crazy metal template thing with screws. Note the decorative purple strip on the end pieces!! I think that's it. Hope I wasn't too late Cry

Thankyou for looking! ^_^

2  Re: A gazillion and a half clear faceted beads in What the heck can I do with THIS? by ~Otherside27~ on: March 22, 2006 01:49:32 PM
The camera hates me... sorry for the delay!!

The little beads are anchored and the larger beads sit ontop of them, but you could just anchor all your beads if they are the same size, I've also seen them where the whole length of the clear string is beads, if the beads are small... I guess that's more like a beaded curtain than a suncatcher!!

3  When the wings of an angel burn, painted top in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by ~Otherside27~ on: December 09, 2005 05:38:14 PM
Yeah, the name was suggested by somebody far away who I miss but I don't think misses me *sob* lol
Well, anyway this is the back of the top

It still looks like a plain top from the front, any suggestions for an angel-themed caption/drawing/design for the front? I was gonna go with "When the wings of an angel burn" but yeah then I'd look like I was obsessed  Wink

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/24337939/ if u can't see the pic!! What do you think fairy wings in pink would look like? fluorescent pink squeezy bottle paint because I am obsessed with it!!

4  Militant Veggi painted top :) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by ~Otherside27~ on: December 09, 2005 05:32:42 PM
Ooh have been lurking for a while, doing uni work and having no time to craft! bah! Also deviantart is very...consuming!! So bear with me if my pics don't work first time  Undecided

This is my Militant Veggi top Cheesy I think he's really cute with his tomatoeyness and gun lol  Cheesy
It's that ketchuppy type fabric paint out of the squeezy bottles and I can't get enough plain tops to customise atm!! Got some more the other day, and some shocking pink fluorescent paint...aaand glitter paint. Oh I will be having much fun!!
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/24334476/ for anyone who can't see the pic!
oh yeah, it's just a black cap sleeve top, but I put the design up a lil high, *DOH*

Any suggestions for more hardcore vegetarian/vegan prints/pictures?  Wink I have many veggi/vegan friends and oh me god how fast is xmas creeping up?!
