51  Re: Coffee Tins, Glass Jars, Plastic Containers in What the heck can I do with THIS? by BeaG on: March 27, 2009 08:03:01 AM
I recycle glass jars like this:

You can use them as flower vazes, or to hold pencils, brushes, etc., etc.

53  Chocolate Easter Eggs Wreath in Easter by BeaG on: March 15, 2009 09:46:41 AM
Here's a wreath I made, using 2 kilos of chocolate Easter eggs!

Edited to add: I glued the wrapped chocolate eggs with a hot glue gun on a straw wreath.

I hope you like it.
BeaG

Edited to add:
PS: we don't put our wreaths on the outside of a door.
Instead we hang them on the wall of for instance our living room, put them on a mantle piece or a cupboard or a bookshell, etc.
Or we ly them flat on a table, for instance as a centerpiece on a dinner table.
This particular one should not be hung/put on a sunny spot!
Or close to a chocolate addict..., lol.

54  Re: Let's make pincushions! in Craftalongs by BeaG on: March 08, 2009 03:22:54 PM
Ow, and then of course I got inspired by this thread and made some of these pincushions too:

I used a natural linnen and a cotton mix (both vintage).

We had a lovely Halloween party for Marc's 9 year old daughter and her friends.
Marc and I spent some fun hours crafting for it:

57  Re: BAG CHALLENGE :2: SPRING BAG! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions by BeaG on: April 11, 2006 12:31:57 AM
You probably already saw this bag, but since everybody kept saying it reminded them of spring (made it in winter), I had to enter it in this contest.

Bag Title: Colorfull Bag

Materials used: 80% acrylic / 20% wool yarn (knit and crochet), synthetic fabric for the lining, fuseable interfacing and a cheap plastic placemat to make it sturdy, magnetic closure (salvaged from cheap bag), plastic rhinestones, salvaged zipper for inside pocket.

Bag picture:

Gr,
