I recieved 6 lbs. of roving from Sheep Shed Studio last weekend, and I began my first endeavor into spinning!  Here are my first skeins, made with Carol's special thank-you grab bag...


Then I started to really get the knack of it, and I moved on to some brown toned mill ends with my drop spindle

it was an atttempt at the urban outfitters knockoff someone posted. i liked the neckline options.

i had a bit of trouble attatching the, erm, strap?
and i made it wayyyyyy too tight and had to cut triangle panels and put them in the sides.
but yeah
do you think i can wear it in public?

we just got a new sewing machine yesterday, and i stayed up all into the night sewing it!
it is made from jersey/knit fabric
the pattern is my own!!!! but it is just a basic bubble skirt
here is the design (very amateur, but i'm working on it!)
