1  DSL Tank from Fitted Knits in Knitting: Completed Projects by Vgasfvr on: June 30, 2007 06:30:53 PM
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g243/Suesew/dsltank092.jpg
I knit this a few weeks ago, but didn't get all the finishing (weaving in of ends!!!!) done till today.  I had also added buttons, but removed them because I prefer the look w/out better.  The stitch pattern on the neck edge hides the button holes really well, otherwise I would have kept them on Tongue

I modified the pattern by working in the round and knitting through the back of the stitches to keep the drops in place.  Be aware that this top is very, very stretchy.  The book recommends going down a couple sizes.  I did, but I think I probably could have gone even smaller...it's that stretchy!

I used Cascade pima tencel.  First time knitting with it and loved it!  Thanks for looking Cheesy

2  Back 2 School u-neck vest from Fitted Knits in Knitting: Completed Projects by Vgasfvr on: June 26, 2007 09:14:10 PM
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g243/Suesew/back2schoolvest052.jpgI am so glad this is done.  Summer weather and wool knitting is a disaster.  I love all Stefanie's designs and this is no exception.
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g243/Suesew/back2schoolvest062.jpg  I used Cascade 220 and size 7 needles for the body and size 5 needles for the trim around the neck and shoulders.  A pretty quick knit all in all.

3  Socks in LimeNViolet colorway in Knitting: Completed Projects by Vgasfvr on: June 06, 2007 01:06:29 PM
Loooooove Lime N Violet!!!  Knit these up for my Niece Alex.  She asked for a pair of green & purple socks.(Hey...I do believe I have that in my stash!)
Used my Lisa Souza LimeNViolet colorway in "Sock".  Size 1 circs, Magic Loop Method - Basic Toe-Up pattern.
On the needles 5/30/07 - Off the needles 6/2/07.
They had very interesting pooling.  Reminds me of Matrix codes running across the monitor Wink

Skully is modeling how much yarn I have left.  I figure I can get two more pair.  One for my 7 year old & a sport sock for me!

Finito!  Took 2 months to complete, but I am very, very happy with the final product.

Out of the frog pond, off the needles and now, (regretfully) packed away until winter. This baby took me 2 months to complete! But the Bitch is done & I'm damn happy about that! Close up button detail. I found these fab (very 'tigers eye') beauties @ Joann's. I love'um.

**In my delirious, euphoric state, I am actually considering knitting a second one of these.....Hello Crazy.
