18  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Bringing back the craftster felt-a-longs? Other ideas for our felting group? on: January 13, 2008 09:40:15 AM
Any chance of another felt-a-long?  I've made everyone I know lattice scarves!

How about something on the jewellery line?  I can make the usual beads etc, but there's some wonderful stuff out there using other objects incorporated into it, if anyone has any knowledge to share?  Please Cheesy
19  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Adding eyelash yarn to felted purse?? on: January 13, 2008 09:32:38 AM
Hi! are you adding the yarn as an embellishment?  I've added some as surface decoration    , but nothing more complicated Wink  To do that, I just laid it on the surface and made sure there were fibres on top to hold it in place before felting.  If you want it to work as a fringe, I would guess you would have to keep part of it separate (wrapped), a much more complicated task!

I've never swapped before, but am interested, as long as it's fairly open what we make Smiley
