Surface Gallery is holding a Christmas Arts & Crafts Fair on Saturday 22nd – Sunday 23rd November 2008.

It will be held in our new location, situated opposite Sneinton Market in the centre of Nottingham; a brilliant place to sell anything handmade or original, from unique artworks to tasty treats to ethically sourced products. The more eclectic the better!

Each 2m x 1m pitch will cost £10 per day; you can apply for as many pitches as you need, at an additional cost of £10 each. Tables are available for hire at £5 each per day; 2 tables can fit in each pitch, or one table if you want a counter style set up. Electricity and lighting will be provided free of charge, however, we suggest you bring your own pat tested lighting and extension leads.

If you require a specific pitch size due to your own display units, please let us know what you would prefer, however we cannot guarantee this.

The Christmas Fair will be open to the public from 10am – 4pm on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November. This event will be well advertised throughout region under Surface Gallery’s established and recognised name. This will be the first of many exciting activities in the new location.

hey crafty folks,

wondered if anyone could help me out here. I'm doing a project designing a calendar for uni but it has to be a new idea.. for the 21st century. I thought i could use velcro to stick on the names of the months and stuff, so the calendar's interactive. Any thoughts along these lines? though im not sure what the main picture could be for the calendar. hmm

I'm doing a project on recycling at the moment and wondered if anyone knows a SIMPLE way to make recycled paper? All the recipes for it on the web call for things I dont have like a blender and stuff I've never heard of to stick it together.. or gelatin and I'm vegetarian! Maybe I should give up!

Hey i designed this on Photoshop by modifying the logo a bit, do the colours look ok  
Just wondered if anyone had any good ideas of how I could apply the logo, would stitching be too complicated do you think? Maybe cutting out pink fabric?

Hope this worked, I just used Photobucket for the 1st time! by the way has anyone else made any band t shirts? I want to make a Pxes one but cant figure out how to do the logo. Any ideas?

Ok this isn't strictly a craft project but at uni i'm meant to be doing a project (photography but im sure i can use collage etc) on the 7 deadly sins. Anyone got any good ideas for me on how to create images for them in original ways?  i thought of making tarot cards but i'm not really sure in what way?

I'm writing from Hull, North east of England.. anyway i just wondered if anyone knows any places to get cool patterned fabric from, like 50s style of 60s & 70s? I'd lke to make my own cushion covers!
